Hacking Emulators won't keep settings (in Wiiflow)

Hello

I got trouble compiling some of the Wiiflow-PLUGINS (VbaGX, FceuGX and Snes9xGX).

I got the source, changed what I wanted to
(the colours - so these plugins fit perfect to my Wiiflow-theme) and made .dol files.

Everything works as it should, except that my SETTINGS won't be saved...
Everytime I start a Gameboy-, NES- or SNES-game my settings (video-mode, timing, cropping...) are back on default.

Could someone tell me how to fix this, please?
