Hi all,

I fell in love with the PS Vita for many reasons, just like the Dreamcast.
This console has a great potential in terms of retrogaming.

Unlike dedicated handleds (Retroid Pocket, RG351, ...) there is no advanced frontend with themes and metadata on Vita.

I don't forget the beautiful Flow from VitaHEX and jimbob4000 ;)
For people who don't know them :

EmulationStation and Pegasus are 2 wonderful opensource frontends, used by retrogaming communities.

I tried to code a clone of EmulationStation in LUA for the Vita (more accessible language for me), but the result is ugly and I lack time to improve my skills and progress in this project.

Pegasus is more recent but seems to be more complex and the EmulationStation code easier to port.
Could the advanced developers present give us their opinion on the difficulty to port one of these two frontends?

Emulators are what need to be improved, not some strange 3rd-party skins of somethings. I suppose we are going to play games, and not menu items.

I agree emulators are the most important however for me frontends give a context, an atmosphere to retrogaming, with their boxarts and information about the games and systems. It increases the time travel.
