Element Hunters DS promo video

I posted about a new 3D action RPG a few days ago called Element Hunters. It's a DS game obviously and resembles Phantasy Star 0 somewhat in looks. Now there's a promo video showing off some footage of the game. Looks impressive actually!



Says October 22 for the Japanese release date. I am going to assume that means this year.

Looks like a PS0 clone, as you mentioned. That's not necessarily a bad thing, though.

Looks interesting, flashy anime cutscenes aside. I hope it gets a localization to the US.

omg this looks frikkin AWESOME there aren't enough games like PSO on DS and I will definately be getting this, I seriously hope this gets localized to EU or US I don't care which as long as I can understand whats being said in the game, if it doesns't get translated then a translation is a must for this beauty *researches*

Wow, what a coincidence. Yesterday I saw the first episode of that anime, and it's kinda insane. It's basically Chemistry + Pokemon, with exploding potatoes thrown in here and there in scenes reminiscent of the King Dodongo fight in Zelda Ocarina of Time.

Certainly hope the game makes more sense than the anime. It was almost painful to watch, it was so random.

Sounds like my kind of thing. (RANDOMNESS FTW!!!)

Edit: I just watched the first half of the first episode and......THEY SAID HOMI!! OVER NINE THOUSAND!!!!! Times in that un-naturally high pitched voice. And then that one kid.....JUMPED ON A LAND MINE!!! Oh wait those were the potato's....lol. I just finished it and......that was epic. (in my p[oint of view anyway I mean come on the android has it's own emotions even though only one was displayed.)
