I'm sure it'll be 90 pages jam packed with old news and colourful ads.

they better still have my info
I had like over 2 years of subscription with them

after OPM kicked the bucket, the rest of the issues added onto EGM, and those promotions things that gave you 1 free year of EGM (quake-con ect...)

While I can appreciate that EGM is making a comeback I gave up on game magazines years ago (even before the prevalence of online game-news sites.) I have a few sites I check for ratings/reviews that I can access when I want (which, I guess, is the appeal of online game-news sites to begin with.) Granted, I do prefer reading an actual printed book/periodical over an electronic version (though I am enjoying 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea on my DS right now) but just not when it comes to gaming.

I prefer Tips and Tricks since they had reviews on game memorabilia and import products and it was sad when they dropped that section too bad they're gone too before the PS3 was launched.

Huh. I doubt they'll fill the other half of my subscription, so I guess I don't really care.

That's cool I guess. I know alot of people were mad when it was stopped. I don't have and need for the magazine; online or not. You can just get the news free online anyways. I never understand why people pay for subscriptions for online game sites.

Old EGM was great, but then I got a year's subscription for free recently and it sucked. I think it was better off canceled. The gaming magazine industry is gonna be hella hard to break through again.

EGM was the best in the 90s but lately all gaming magazines suck. I like strategy guide books but I stopped buying gaming magazines a long time ago. I do have all the old EGM, Gamepro and Nintendo Power magazines though. I love the old Nintendo Power Magazines that have full maps of games. Very good strategy guides etc...

Now buy any gaming magazine and is nothing but crap and where are the full maps and the in depth strategy guides? The pages and pages for all the moves and combos for fighting games etc...
