Gaming Eboots and different regions

Hi i was trying to get Dragon ball z Ultimate Tenkaichi working today on my CFW with the new patch but it freezes at loading.
The Patch says it for USA but i own a pal version of the game i thought that the eboots where universal or is it just a problem with the DRM still ?

most usa/eur game fixes work with one another but not all. change the sfo to the usa version's title id (use sfo editor). that is what is examined when it comes to patches. if the title ids match, it will boot the patched eboot to override the original.
