Hiya folks, I finally got around to uploading my script to github! I've been using this at home for quite some time to host my own little LAN-only server for NSP files so the whole family can use Tinfoil to install them from LAN and save tons of bandwidth.

I had issues with Nut, and then again with Caddy, ultimately settling for a simple FTP server (alongside Tinfoil 5 mod).

Hey, nice work, I've sent a pull request with some changes I made.
Trying to make it more generic and easier to use.

About the authentication characters issue, I think there is no luck there, the "http://user:[email protected]" is deprecated and too much trouble, not worth fixing, just use a really long pass
