Anyone else see their Wii making that wonderful blue blinking only to find that they had only received a e-mail from Nintendo talking about replacement straps.

Nintendo can send you messages at any time, but you will only see the pulsing light when your Wii is in WiiConnect24 mode (yellow LED)...you won't see any light when it's in stand-by mode (red LED)...

too bad Nintendo didn't add a switch at the back of the system to turn the power off entirely (like the PS2)
