Hacking DvDx

So I installed DVDx to my wii for playing dvds. it all installed, everything ok. also i have a modchip in my wii (D2C). It said that the channel would be hidden. So now how do I play dvds??? where do i go? how do access the channel? please help.

get a movie player for the wii. theres different ones to try, its really up to you. I personally own a stand alone dvd player and find playing dvds on the wii is a waste of time. I watch my video from my terabyte wii hard drive and not from disc.

you use the application mplayerdvdlibedition or mplayerwii
check wiibrew.org

also because your modded, you are to go and install patchmii core and libdi patchmii

kk thanks and in answer to lord kanti yes i have dvd player and hard drive ut sometimes my dvd player shits itself so i need an alternative. in this case the wii.

yeah install patchmii patchmii, and libdi patcghmii, ca be found on hackmii website.....

also this enables you to play DVD Videos off mplayerwiiDVDLIBEdition
Also play DATA DVD'S off MPlayerWii
both apps download off wiibrew.org

yea it does, you need libdi and patchmii core aswell, read disclaimers!

You have a terabyte wii hard drive?

I too have an USB 1TB hard disk and it works perfectly with GeeXboX

What dj is saying is spot on i could not get media player to play files off dvd with my d2pro chip till i installed the files he linked me to thanks once again dj man

Thats what its written n hackmii.com:
"D2CKey is most likely not supported, and OpenWii has been tested as not supported"
