Hacking DVD Dump.....

I have the Twilight hack on my Wii. A friend put his SD card in that had DVD dump on it. I am not quite sure what this was totally going to do, but from what my friend said this was suppose to take a Retail Wii game & through the Wireless connection send those files to the PC in an ISO file to burn.

Well, it worked & the Copy works, but now the Wii will not play a copy through the Gamma Channel. But the copy that he made through this process plays just fine in my Wii that also has the Twilight Hack.


Any ideas on how to fix my Wii?? Should I just re-load the Twilight Hack??

So... the copy didn't work on his Wii or it didn't work on your wii using the gamma channel?

He said the Gamma Channel just doesn't work, however the backup runs fine.

How do you know if the backup runs if the channel doesn't work?

The back up runs on my Wii that has the Twilight Hack. But No back up, including this one, will not play on his Wii that has the Twilight Hack & is the one that he ran the DVD Dump on to make this back up.

Hmm... Not to my knowledge. I loaded the Twilight Hack to the Wii for him.

I removed the Gamma Loader Channel through the WAD Manager & now I can't get it to reinstall.

I was also going back through loading the Twilight again & I can't get the CIOS Fix.Wad to load either. Keeps giving me an error when it is trying to install the title.

I am lost at this point.

what's the wii's firmware? on 3.4 you can't install wads with the normal wad manager

Try reinstalling the latest (rev 7) cios from waninokoko trough its own dol installer file (so not using wad manager)

then reinstall cios...
worse comes to worse just use any region changer m5 to update to 3.4 the follow a guide to downgrade...

So I understand you right, run the IOS Downgrader; I have IOS Downgrader V1.1 & Custom IOS Downgrade, which one? Then re-run the CIOS Installer or the CIOS Fix.Wad File?

What Region changer would you recommend?

What I was thinking was just updating the System back to 3.4 & then re-running the Twilight Hack, but I am not sure what that will do to the system. Again, I am kind of lost at this & rather new as you can tell. I know if I can get it back to 3.4 & re-run the Twilight Hack it will work again.
