My Wii's DVD drive do not turn on. It do not give a sign of life. When I turn my Wii on, there is no noise of the drive. And after some time, Wii shows an error mensage telling me to press the eject button e turn off the system. What should I do?

Hey guys,
I have a big problem. My computer does not find my DVD or CD players. DVD players are Samsung and LiteOn are CD players. This is not the food because when I press the Open button opens the reader. My computer displays no DVD or the CD drive icon. Do I need to install driver or anything else.

Sounds like your drive is dead. You can find replacements on eBay.

Windows vista? I've had issues with Vista loosing track a my DVD player. When I called tech support they told me it was an operating system issue and not a hardware. If this is your case google something like "Windows Vista DVD drive not found regedit". You will find fixes but you might have to get into the registry editor to get it working.
