Hacking Dumping VC game's roms?

I'm trying to dump the roms of my VC games from my 3ds, but they can't be ran by default by NES emulators. I've mounted the .CIA of them in GM9 and dumped the rom from the romFS. I've found that they are in "TNES format" but I haven't found a way to convert it myself via google, but maybe someone here knows how to convert them or knows of a tool.

This would also be helpful because it appears the roms from "Ultimate NES remix" are in this format.

Yeah you just rename them to the format the emulator uses.... No conversion necessary. It's the same for GBA, GB, GBC, SEGA etc.... The VC doesn't encrypt the saves and if they're injects, it most definitely doesn't.

That has not been working for me. I've tried both NEStopia and Higan.

If you're trying to dump the custom "remix" games, that probably won't work - when Nintendo does ROM hacks they tend to be patched on the fly.

I would like to try to dump those, but currently all I want to do is dump the basic roms of these games.
