Nintendo is said to be trying to get people to go legal and put down their R4s/other flashcarts. What would you do?

Nope. My R4 can likely do everything that their card will do, plus more. Because you KNOW the DSVision won't play ROMs.....at least not right out of the box.

To me, vids/pics/music or some pay-for-play download is quite secondary to playing a bunch of games for free.

The only thing I'd trade my R4 for is an SDHC version of the R4.

Only if they showed up at my house to personally tear the R4 from my hands.
Which, apparently, is what Nintendo's trying to do, so I guess we'll see.

Since it's not even out it way too early to tell whether to get one or not. We can already play music and movies. Unless Nintendo offers something special I really don't see the point. Really, they're going after a market that is clearly not "us". They going after people that don't know about flashcarts.

The system, dubbed DSvision, will enable DS / DS Lite owners to purchase a variety of material through the web, including books, comics, movies, music, etc., and then transfer the files over to the DS for on-the-go enjoymentYeah, I'll watch The Chaser's War on Everything vodcast on mah DS for free, kthx... Wait, where's GAMES?QUOTEThe product package will reportedly include a 512MB microSD card
I find that very useful. [/sarcasm]

Yup, I would stay with my R4. (Quotes from here)

Nintendo is being retarded. The only way I'll possibly get this is if I find it used sometime and it has a REALLY cool interface.

I won't trade in my R4 for one, but I'll probably get one. I like the idea of being able to get books, comics, &c. online direct from the publisher (so more likely to be a good conversion) for my DS.

I think (hope) that the books, comics etc. will be dumped before you know it .

Same here. I love my R4DS too much to trade it to some official product that obviously won't play ROMs out of the box.

Even with some haxorz, it will probably have Sub-par ROM compatibility like the MMD.

Not sure is this a good idea for nintendo
They must thinking
"if they release this people with flashcart will get DSvision instead..."

on the other side....
"when People who normally buy/play real games get DSvision and try to find more info about it, they must find/hear lot of thing about flashcart and may want to use it: )
