Hacking dstwo gba question - pokemon emerald

Hi. I'm playing pokemon emerald recently and I have a kind of problem that time doesn't change.
The clock in the trainer's house works fine but day and night doesn't change. (ex. When I play at 11 p.m. it's still bright outside)
It's always bright outside even when I play at late night.
This is my first time to play 3rd gen pokemon, so I don't even know this is really a problem.
If there is a way to fix it, please let me knwo how to do it.

You need to running NDSGBA 1.21 with this game_config.txt, that should fix your problem.
EDIT: Also Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald don't have day to night transition, it's always day. The internal close is only used for berries and timed events.
