Hacking DSTWO backlight probs

I got my dsixl and dstwo yesterday and i was soooo pleased!! it is amazing! everyone should throw their other flashcart away and get this one! Anyways when you are in dstwo menu you cannot adjust the brightness of the backlight! why is that? and can it be fixed? When i tap the icon to change the brightness or change it in the menu, nothing happens! even in moonshel you can't change the brightness or in the real time thing! please help! sorry for all the exclaimations!

As said it don't do that on a DSi or XL - but that's not a problem since on a DSi you can adjust brightness with [select] & volume control (don't know if it's the same on a XL)

IIRC the Light level is controlled purely by 'software' on the DSL/DSPhats, while on DSi it's a Combo of Hardware/Software - & since the Software of DSi hasn't been hacked, then there's no way of including it in any flashcard OS

Can't you change the light/sound settings at anytime with a DSi? Hold select and use the volume control for brightness. There's no reason for supercard to be able to do that.

The feature exists for those using the Supercard DSTwo with a DS Lite.

I can confirm that by holding slect and pressing the volume buttons, you CAN adjust the brightness on the DSI XL whilst in the dstwo menu! Thank you Cannon!

You can do this by default at any time. You don't have to be using the DSTWO Menu. This feature was implemented by Nintendo into the DSi/XL firmware.

u wanna know how to change it thou, press select and use the volume up and down that will change the brightness of the dsi, idk about xl but it might work

Oh my life!!! do you not read i said i have confirmed it to work on the xl and i know it was implemented in to the dsixl not dstwo but im just saying it will work with a flashcard like dstwo moderators, you can close this topic, the problem has been resolved.
