Hacking DSTwo and PKHeX Question

I have a SC DSTwo and my NDS game backups on it. Does PKHeX work with the saves SC DSTwo uses for Diamond/Pearl and HeartGold/SoulSilver? Thoughts appreciated

Where are the NDS saves stored on DSTwo?

In the same directory as the .nds files. They are called the same way but with a .sav extension.
