Hacking DSiWare Downgrade Help

I'm following Phailect dsiware downgrade guide. Hacked O3DS trying to system transfer to a O3DS on 11.0.0-33U. The hacked 3ds is good to transfer but when I hit system transfer on the unhacked 3ds it's saying I need to update. Am I missing anything here? Is it safe to update? What should I do? Thank you!!

I've done a system transfer from a O3DS to N3DS, both on 11.1.0.34, worked out great.
