So I used this method:

To get LumaCFW on my 3DS. Now I want to help my friend get cfw on his 3ds, but after doing all the stuff with GM9 and then going to my DSIware (Sudoku by EA) it just loads into B9S tool instead of giving a boot.nds error as it should. Any help?

The B9S tool is already on the sd card named boot.nds then. So you can just go ahead and install it once you put the needed files on the sd card.
