Gaming DSI will not charge the battery!

My unit was working fine but now I cant get the battery to charge. The charge light comes on and just stays on. I have switched the battery and it was the same issue. But if I charge the battery in a different dsi the put the battery in mine. I wand turn it on play the games an everything else. So the system works fine expect that it will not put a charge on the battery.
