My kids didn't use the DS lite for a long time, now they want to us it

I thought I was so smart , so I formated the DS X card to FAT32 and wanted to
update the firmware to the latest with help of the Ds_Xtreme_updater_v1.2.exe.

But it doesn't work, this exe can't retrieve the newest software and he can't recognize
the device firmware. I understood that the DS-Xtreme 4Gb has no support and is
old.

So, now I have a Nintendo DS and a formated FAT 32 DS-Xtreme 4Gb card.

I don't want to spend any money, so what are my options regarding working software/firmware
on the card.

Please help

Is there not way I can use Wood on the card? Or is there a way to
have DS-Xtreme working again with old FirmWare? Maybe a tool
that doesn't retrieve data from any not workin site anymore?

Look at the DSX OpenSource Firmware Project, you can download the Files and link it via an little Updater Modification to your PC instead of an Server...

Wow, that looks very complex, I seem to understand, I only don't understand
how I can open the DX Updater.exe so I can modify what's needed?

Many files can't be downloaded anymore

There must be another
way of getting this working again?!

DS Xtreme went the way fo the dodo a long, long time ago. You can either fork out $8 for an AceKard2 or you can put a lot of time and effort getting it up and running, then find that you still can't play recent games and there are very few people out there with enough intrest in the device to be able to help you.
