i think it has a prettier gui and some extra functionality.

however i think i remember it not working for all countries, only europe etc.

It has an issue with the favourites menu showing -8 and the main screen showing +8 at the same time.

You can get any contries weather just read the help and learn how to use it (region codes)

Well I got 0.4 from here.. and there`s 0.5 on his site..

Although there`s a few probs with this version... the scrolling ticker goes mental after about 5 clicks of it ( changing the ticker )
And my weather.com city code doesn`t show the town name and the details are all messed up!

someone should make a traffic type thing or maps for the ds, or is that already an available homebrew?
