Hacking DS not recognizing my expansion pack

Ok, so I put my 3 in 1 expansion pack in and the DS doesn't recognize it. Not one bit. I tried blowing the cart and the DS slot but it's not working. Any suggestions?
Also, I know I need to put the shell folder on my MicroSD but the download link for it on the EZ website is broken and the shell folder I use on my SuperCard doesn't work.

Can anyone please help me fix my problems?

Yeah, I thought that it might not show up in the menu but it doesn't even work in games...

Heh, I got the shell problem to work but my rumble pack is still not recognized... Do I need to patch the ROM or something?

Are you using the EZ-V or the SCDS?

Did you update the kernel and did you get the newest save list?

I am using EZ-V and I updated the kernel. Not too sure about the save list though.

Dont games have to be patched with the EZIV (or latest EZV) software?
