Gaming DS lite will not charge

So i bought a used one today from a gamestop, and i really dont want to go back, but if i have to i will. its kind of far from my house.
The ds will turn on and i can play, but it will not charge. can you guys help?

Could be a bad charger seeing as you can play it,so you could try someone else charger or buy a new one or maybe a failing battery...

ive tried 2 chargers already. but ill try the battery. thanks
