Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this.

I am attempting to get a DS Lite to turn on with only one screen, I have attached an LED to these points:

The DS power light goes green and the attached LED lights up for about 3 seconds, no image on the screen, and then it turns off.

I was able to get it working once, this was when I was just holding the LED in place but now it wont turn on anymore.

I have tried just bridging the connection too.

Yes, find and replace the broken fuse and make the DS Lite boot up with only one screen (preferably use a resister instead of an LED so I don't get a bright light). Also if you are able to, move the speakers into the bottom as well like in the video. It should also still be able to boot DS games so that I can play Mario Kart with the Action Replay code to have the game on the bottom screen. Am I asking too much?

DS games wouldn't work anymore with no top screen.

Have you not considered just getting one of these...

So how about an update?
Have you fixed it yet?

If you don't feel comfortable replacing the burned fuse you could bypass it, but that comes with the risk of damaging the ds even more in the event of a power spike.

i have one of these and it's dope. i installed a speaker on both my nds and ndsl and i just boot and r4 cart and either a gba expansion pack or an m3 perfect sd to play every single gb, gbc, gba, and nds game in existence
