Hacking ds lite doesnt recognise ezflash v any more

Hi, my ds lite doesn't appear to recognise my ez card anymore. Everytime I turn it on it says no card inserted. I've cleaned the contacts and tried to put some paper behind the card to make sure it is connected properly but no luck!

Any ideas?
