So DS Linker has just released 1.40 with xmenu 2.43.

What's the deal? Why don't they just release 1.45?

numbers don't mean much unless they actually lack significant support compared to other clones 1.45. Actually you can use other firmwares instead if you prefer

ummm yeah.... So you haven't tested it?

The readme says "support Moonshell as a default setting", which seems to be the only difference from other firmwares. Or did the others say that too?

Anyway, it doesn't say anything about soft reset or 512kb saves which MK5 and N-Card firmwares have had for ages. Seems pretty pointless to release this.

I just installed the firmware, and I can't find any soft reset anywhere. It doesn't have that new Auto save type, that enables soft reset. I also tried soft reset in every save type available, and nothing. So hopefully someone knows something I don't.

I didn't try Zelda or anything though. I'm going to go right back to the MK5 firmware. Why would they release a new firmware, and not include soft reset?
