DS game maker is an application for cutting out the leg-work in creating an interface in PAlib. It will generate the code for making it look right, but you will have to use c to breath life into the game.

Does this have lots of features? I hate hardcoding homebrew apps from scratch.

EDIT: I see they've gotten the GUI down (it looks very much like the actual Game Maker), but all this currently does is draw sprites.

XtenDS lets you have sounds, ifs, splash screens and lets you have sprites move using the D-Pad with just one function. Plus, I am friends with FatQuack in the real world
