Hacking DS Fire link questions

1. What's up with the save database? it is automatically included in the firmware or does it need to be set on the card manually?

2. How to boot up a 2nd storage device (DS LINKER software) L+R+A+B in the menu of the DS LINKER firmware doesn't work

3. For homebrew, what type should i take (..because there a non fatlib, fat lib etc)

2. dont understand the question? Passme?

3. for homebrew download the dldi version, just dont patch it as it will be auto patched by the card

There is a passme fuction, so you can boot up slot 2devices with a certain hotkey combination. (..You know..same as passme, passwe, superkey)

Should be L+R+A+B, but it won't work, and wont'start up my g6 lite when i'm in the ds linker menu

I think you need a Nopass ROM on your card.

download this file, unzip it anywere, you will have a file called MK5_PassMe.nds, run it as a rom and it will boot the gba slot

i tried to attach it but couldnt

Is this firmware better than the ds linker firmware btw?
And what does the Virus_nds do? is it a virus checker or something?

firmware is mostly the same, all clones of the ncard's

virus ds is a homebrew game, a pretty cool one at that!
