.......what's this game all about?
thank god this game wasn't release 5000
good games come once in a while... this is mainly for the kids
if u ask me, these are the classical themed games tht appeared during our time with such graphics and rabbits etc
nowadays its horses and puppies
grew up with reader rabbit on pc-early 90's
I loved Reader Rabbit! Although these days it isn't much of a challenging game
Loool I remember loving this game when I was reaaally small.. Obviously if you're above about 5 years old, this won't appeal to you xDD
i remember this. on the PC you had to make pizzas for monkeys in the maths version
So did I, there is still a soft spot in my heart for this series.
Holy crap, Reader Rabbit!
I remember playing the one where Sam the lion has to rescue Reader Rabbit from a dragon. Good times...
WHAT THE F
Reader Rabbit is great, but I wish this was a first grade version, my brother is too old for this one.
WAIT A MINUTE!?
This isn't Dragon Quest 9.
Seriously though, the time is almost here!
But the first rom is 0001... so that makes this the 5000th rom o:
i dont get this xD this is 5001st no matter how you put it?!
The first rom (0001) is the first rom released.
Rom #5001 is the 5001th rom released by the scene and is thus the 5001th rom.
Finally we are getting DQ IX this month after 1 year in JPN land, qu is who will release it 1st and when?
As others have already stated: lolwut? Let's say you start counting from 1 to 3. The first thing you count is 1. Then 2. Then 3. So there are 3 numbers in total. Now apply the same logic here: 1, 2, 3, ..., 5001. 5001 numbers in total. So there are 5001 ROMs (not including nuked ones) in total.
The rabbit on the boxart looks like the Nestle Qwik bunny.
Goddamn! I loved me some reader rabbit back in the day on pc.
Seriously though, these type of games were tremendously helpful to both me and my sisters with reading and spelling. I really hope they release more, and I recommend it to any parents with appropriately-aged children. Then again I have no idea whether this is actually good like the old ones, or is just crappy shovelware. It could be either, but I hope it's good, for the childrens' sake
Man, this and Humongous games (putt-putt, freddy fish, pajama sam, etc.). Those were the days!
