This one is really cool, features 2000 go problems. Pretty weak ai.
For go lovers, expect new ai soon. A probalistic algorithm which has been recently designed looks promising (you can believe my words I'm a grad student in a field close).

This is Go, also know as the oldest board game known to man.
Will try this one out. This is a rather simple game to play, my guess is that it doesn't need much Japanese skills to enjoy this game, but a fair understanding of the game is essential.

Got a link deufeufeu (I have athens login abilities if necessary)? I have followed Go for a while now but missed that (I do not mind if it is French either).

For anyone wondering chess computers and the like work because in chess there is only a few moves that can be made at any one time so you can brute force the best solution but Go has many more options making that far harder.

Thanks deufeufeu that made for interesting reading, I may be wrong but that looks like a lot of floating point stuff is going to be needed to pull off: not the strong point of the DS (or a lot of stuff these days).
