I didn't change a thing, only followed the vWii hack guide here, and ran usb loader gx without changing a thing ... If it indeed crashes, then even tho i played for some hours, i didn't advance enough in the game for sure...

Do you have installed d2x-v10-beta52-vWii or d2x-v10-beta53-vWii??

I hear beta52 is the one with more compatibility so i only tried that one.

I never even tried beta53.

please give all your settings:
Which version of cIOS : beta 52 vWii
Which base : 56 or 57? (probably 56 if you didn't change a thing)
Which revision of USBLoaderGX :
Which Patches/settings applied : all default? video setting set to disc or console?
Which region Wii/Game : NTSC both ?

So, only the revision would be interesting to know.

For example, San fransisco works with USBLoaderGX 2.3 (but not 3.0)
Prince of Persia need all patches disabled (disable "return to", disable Ocarina and use video mode Console's default)
So specific settings may be required for tintin too.

Does it really SanFrancisco work on vwii with USBLoaderGX 2.3?
I tried with USBLoaderGX 2.3 NTSC/PAL - beta 52 vWii/beta 53 vWii - default settings, but nothing changes, I get stuck every after mission.
