I own a dreamcast from the US. (NTSC)
I (now) live in Australia. (PAL)

I am wondering the logistics of dropping the 240v here down to a dreamcast friendly 110.

Is there a way I can replace the power supply? Cheaply. Can i use parts lying around from old computers? Is there a HK seller that has the 'PAL' replacement parts?

thanks temp community. i have fond memories here from my youth.

attached is the one (and only) part i found. sold out.

You can replace the power supply board in the DC no problems - I had a couple of Jap 110v DCs that I used a stepdown with.

When the DC got a release in Europe I took a PSU board from a 220v Euro and put it in one of the Jap models.

I don't know how much DCs sell for in Oz, but in blighty they sell for under £5 - easiest option is probably just to buy a local DC and swap the power board over.
