Heyas!
I am not tech savy at all and bought a moded wiiu and guy I got it from installed an application called wine for me to get tickets for the games off.

I had to delete it there a while ago and am not lost as to how to get the tickets. Had a look there to see about instaling wine again but doesnt seem to work with mac Catalina.

Do I have any options? I'm so bad with all this moding stuff so the simpler the better , thanks so much!

You probably want Wii U USB Helper. Yo ho ho and a bottle of piracy. It's a Windows application, which is why you needed Wine to run it on a Mac.

Wine doesn't work on Catalina, but there is a commercial version called CrossOver that does (at least the latest version, 19): https://www.codeweavers.com/products/crossover-mac/download. They offer a 14 day free trial. According to CrossOver's 'what runs' database, WUUHelper didn't work with version 17 (based on one report…), but maybe things have improved. I used CrossOver for many years, but you're probably better off installing Windows with BootCamp and running it that way (requires a restart, best performance), or with Parallels Desktop https://www.parallels.com/uk/products/desktop/ (which is what I use) or VMWare Fusion https://www.vmware.com/uk/products/fusion.html (emulators so work while running Mac OS, but performance and compatibility with Windows programs may not be perfect).

Parallels looks good and they do a 14 day trial so I could use that to get the tickets I want from usb helper then?
Thanks for the reply!
