Hacking Downloading PS+ games without updating?

Sorry for the repeat topic, but most of the information I've found on the subject is no less than 6 months old. This was evidently long enough for update blocker and Charles Proxy to no longer be viable methods in accessing PSN.

Are there any means remaining to download games from PSN without updating from 3.18?

Will this work without forcing an update? I was under the impression that attempting to connect to the PSN store without being on the latest firmware would result in an immediate rebuff prior to having the opportunity to begin the download.

no idea but i would try it anyways.
DL it, transfering it via qmca and then isntalling it via package manager.

If you've got a PS3, there's a method you can use to download them to that and then transfer to your Vita using a trick.

http://wololo.net/2013/04/17/lower-ps-vita-firmwares-for-dummies/ Method is listed under "Getting a exploit game (or any other content)on to your Vita via OpenCMA PS3 trick", it's written for transferring PSP games to use with VHBL, but presumably it'll work for any Vita content.
