Downloaded game from entitlement.db: PKG error when launch

Hi all, I wrote an application in order to save PKGs for purchased games based on entitlement.db method. I replace my HDD with an SSD and restore both entitlement.db and actsync.dat from original HDD to new SSD.

Installed downloaded PKG (using link from entitlement.db json) but when I start the game I receive an error. Jailbroken PS4 9.00. Any tips?

You have to sign in to get your licenses back. You can't take them from the old hdd either.

Hi, I got all .idx and .rif files from original HDD from these places:

/user/license/
/user/home/*/license/

and I got entitlement.db and actsync.dat from here:

/system_data/priv/license

If I can't install the retail game in this way why this method from psxhax exists? I don't understand the point, thanks

There is a method by Mogi_codemasterv to get your games (entitlement pkgs) now. Follow the instructions below. It does work!! It lets you download your entitlement package files. It also shows all game info including, Themes, DLCs, Games and bundles. You import your DB file to sqlite and export it as a .json file. In notepad++ open your .json you exported and format the page as a .json and it will put everything in blocks with all game info including, Full game names, Title IDs, Cusa, and links to images and pkg files. FTP to your PS4 and copy entitlement.db from /system_data/priv/license Open it in HxD Search for .json And go to PlaystionStore on your computer web browser Log in Paste the .json link in the web browser You have access to download your entitlement pkg (DLC, Base Game, Theme) For Newer games they store the data in a XML file Same steps as before, copy the link for the .xml in your entitlement.db and open in the web browser while logged in to the store A page will pop up with all of your .json files for the game Newer games store all the .json in the .xml file and you can download them all.

If I use the original HDD files yes, there is a lock icon, otherwise there isn't the icon but I receive the error "CE-39934-8"

from what I can tell, the issue is with the licenses. you probably have to sign in still.

I can't sign in without update the firmware, isn't it?

Yeah, that's the thing with upgrading hdd while using goldhen, there is no way to use your entitlement.db games, I remember there was an offline activator though but I'm not sure if it can help
