Hacking Download PLay Question

hey people, I have a newbie question.
Do you only need to use download play if ther other person does not have the game?
for example, what if two people have a slot-1 solution, but there are different, a r4 and a DS one, can you play wifi games with the other person?

Download play = single cart play.

Multicart play works in pretty much every combination of flashcarts and genuine DS carts, online or locally. Download play is the only type of multiplayer you will have trouble with if you are using a flashcart.

BTW, wifi generally refers to internet play, not local multiplayer.

thanks for your reply. So it sounds like it won't be a problem to do local multiplayer with two different slot-1 solutions.
