Decrypt9 will let you inject into the emuNAND's H&S app while in sysNAND, so that shouldn't be a problem unless you have trouble booting into sysNAND.
Oh, yay! That's good news. Nothing's wrong with sysNAND.

EDIT: Upon booting into Decrypt9 in sysNAND, I get a black screen. Wonder why...

It should take a little while to boot up. Are you waiting for it to boot? I haven't encountered a consistently black screen with Decrypt9. Maybe you should try downloading a different version.
Yeah, I do wait for it to boot. For a whole minute. Anyways, edited the message at some point, it finally worked for me to dump. Now I'll see if it works again for me to inject...

This.

This is an example of why configuring your system to auto-boot into emunand isn't as cool as you think. (Aimed at the general public, not anybody in particular).

I know I read somewhere regarding this. But back in the day I used GW menu to dump my sysNAND. (I know it created the larger partition with wasted space) However is it expected that Decrypt9 won't write it back? I tried renaming sysNAND.bin/nand.bin and all I got was "Unusable file found"

I booted into the GW menu and attempted to restore the system nand and it seems to be successful. If so, just wanted to check because I think I should redump sysnand with decrypt9 (in case I need to drop a9lh)

Yea... for some reason dc9 doesn't like GW emunand.

Well that's a relief. Was testing out A9LH and was happy with it. Then figured "ok now just flash sysnand back to go back where I Was"

Seeing the "Unusable file found" made me shit bricks for a minute.

I'll just go ahead and dump it with Decrypt9 and replace my backups.
