Hacking Downgrading emuNAND

I'm pretty sure sysupdater can be used to downgrade emunand.
What reason would you have to downgrade emunand anyway?

Also make an emunand backup before attempting just in case.

Another option would be to create a new emunand and update that to 9.9 with sysupdater.

I guess he wants to download play or simply play local multiplayer with a 9.9 system.

I want to make a 9.9 emuNAND so I can play with my friend with download play (he has a 9.9 console). I would install MK7 on my emuNAND and he would be using download play on his 9.9 console to play with me.

So I downgraded to 9.0.0 using the update pack I had on hand and it's working! I simply used sysUpdater in emuNAND and I used the "downgrade" option.

EDIT: Tried doing a battle on Starfox 64 3D and it's working to download play on my 9.9 3ds xl
