You can only use system transfer once a week. After the transfer you need to wait one week for it to be available again.
And you don't need to transfer back like you said, because you are going to sell the 2nd 3DS anyway. Keep the NNID on your main one.

To summarize it:
1. Buy a 2nd 3DS with Firmware <= 10.7. Install a9lh on it. Update to 11.2
2. Transfer main 3ds -> CFW 3DS. Set up the Dsidowngrade tool on CFW 3DS by following the guide
3. Wait 1 week
4. Transfer CFW 3DS -> main 3DS. Follow the rest of the guide.

Hello everyone. I was wondering if in the somewhat future do you think that downgrading will be possible on 11.0. This being without the 4 required dsiwares of course. I have heard about sighax making downgrading kinda obsolete but I am not sure if I would be able to use that in the first place with my current setup. Thanks everyone

I have a theory, and if I could get my friends DS I could test it, but my theory is that if you can run FBI with waithax, then we can install fourswords to the ds, and it'll downgrade. still got to test it.

To downgrade on 11.0+, you need NAND access. Nothing that's been announced changes that.

To get NAND access, you need either an ARM9 exploit (none released or announced on 11.0, would make downgrading to 9.2 obsolete) or a hacked DSiWare game (due to an oversight, DSiWare has full NAND access).

Those are the only ways to get NAND access to the 3DS in software. The other option is of course a hardmod.

If you don't have one of the 4 DSiWare titles, your only options are hardmod or a system transfer that contains a modified DSiWare game.

But if we don't downgrade and use Decrypt9 directly from DSiWare?

For installing A9LH this should be enough right? NAND backup ("writing" NAND), CTR TRANSFER (NAND writing)

No i'm pretty sure the firmwarehas to be on <= 9.2, where an arm9 exploit is available, in order to use CTR transfer and such. That's why in the guide we have to downgrade to 9.2 first before CTR transfer to 2.1

CTRNAND is a NAND partition, we have NAND writing....
And Decrypt9 has a .nds release too

You can't run Decrypt9 from DSiWare. Decrypt9 does more than simple NAND access. I don't really get what you are trying to say.

Yes, you need NAND access to use dgTool to downgrade the NATIVE_FIRM.

You still need to boot into the homebrew launcher and use sysDowngrader to downgrade to 9.2. That hasn't changed.

I mean, when you are in 9.2 with Decrypt9 you use only NAND functions

I may be misremembering but wasn't there a thing a couple of weeks ago where one would use slowhax to inject Sudoku v1 and SudokuHax into almost any DSiware?
