You can buy a sky3ds+ (which doesn't support newer games) for $100 bucks but at that rate you might as well pay someone to hardmod the console for $70. Since your on 11.2 you can't use the upcoming slowhax and your only choice is hardmod.

Actually, the Sky3DS+ does support newer games, unless you mean say, Sun/Moon, and the Sky3DS team say they're working on support for those. After all, the Sky3DS+, unlike the Sky3DS, is updateable.
