You can, but you won't be able to verify the save is loaded properly using emuNAND. That's why a9lh is recommended. If the save isn't loaded you'll need to wait either 14 days (if you want to transfer the game back to the hacked console and transfer again) or 7 (if you don't mind buying the game again).
