I hate to bring up dying topics with off-topic information, but I would hate more not to reply to the post @WeedZ made previously.
I agree with most of what WeedZ has said. We cannot improve if nobody points out our flaws, and negativity is sometimes necessary to prove our point. WeedZ didn't criticize OP, but did mention some revealing morals that
me.
There's a difference between constructive criticism and destructive criticism. We can (and should) criticize people so they learn from their mistakes, and it's fine if we emphasize our anger as long as we get the point across. However, I don't think we should attack the people we criticize, nor should we revoke their credibility. I'm particularly referring to the person you quoted/supported, implying that the "noob" wasn't "smart," as well as the condescending remarks (stupid, illiterate, etc) toward the person you replied to.
WeedZ, I can sympathize with your frustration with the frequent "noob" posts, but please remember that everyone has differing levels of criticism tolerance. Sometimes, our remarks can unintentionally create permanently damaging or traumatic effects on people, especially developing children. Regarding the "SJW" thing you commented on, there are certainly many corrupt or under-educated individuals who preach (and you might even consider me a hypocrite, depending on your beliefs), but at least consider what I've said earlier: If nobody points out our flaws, we cannot improve, and there are legitimate concerns that some of those "SJWs" bring up that are very real.
I'm not telling you how to live your life, but I do ask that you re-evaluate some of your morals regarding criticism.
