nice. i just went through the process of softmodding a virgin 4.2 and have to say i was surprised at how many apps are needed to get everything going. this will take 1 app out of the process and probably save a bunch of trouble for people going through this.

maybe another feature worth adding could be an "update all ios"

makes dop ios mod all that's needed to perform system updates

A download queue type feature would be nice. Tell it which IOSes you want and which get patches, then it downloads and installs all of them at once. That way, you can go eat lunch or watch TV while those IOSes install...

Also, can't agree more with ziddey, an "Update ALL" (skipping stubs obviously) would be nice.

As for the TBR functions in v9, only used TBR once myself, but nice knowing i don't need it on my SD now.

What would be realy nice is if it just checked the folder i have on my SD card before downloading same thing each time like the original DOPios does

how does this take the need out for TBR?
does it downgrade IOS15 to allow the patching of IOS36 to take place?

how would you patch IOS36 on a virgin wii without downgrading IOS15?

Also if this thing replaces TBR by patching ios36 im pretty sure its gonna need a wifi connection.

TBR can use offline method to patch ios36.

the last feature seems intresting, but can't quite understand what it mean by that.

so meaning i can use dop ios mod to get a patch ios 36, if thats it then it's really cool!

gonna test it later

If you were to use this to mod a virgin 4.2 wii... which IOS would you use to run it that would allow the IOS36 patching to take place?

So i do the IOS15 downgrade but when it try install IOS36 v3351 i get an error 'error loading IOS into memory' ? and reboots wii

It downgrades IOS15 to install IOS36 then you would use IOS36 to install others, But at the min i cant get it to install IOS36

DOP-IOS can be offline as well.
it just needs unpacked IOS files
version 8 didn't check the sd card always connected to the internet

neither does this version have all the files on my sd card and it still connects

dop-ios could work offline, and it sounds like the older version of dop-ios mod could not... can this latest release also work offline (provided the appropriate files are saved on the sd card)?????????????

-also, has any1 tried using this instead of TBR on a virgin wii? results?

So i tried using this yesterday on a virgin 4.2 Wii, normally i use TBR downgrade 15 then install 36 then use 36 to install 249 etc... Tried that with this program to save steps, looks identical to TBR when its doing the process but it would freeze everytime when it got to the installing part 2, it looked kinda liked a code dump screen but the text would be garbled, couldnt even tell for sure thats what it was. I ended up using TBR again and it worked, has anyone else encountered this? I really like this program just couldnt get it to work for the life of me
