Gaming Doom ps4 disc wont install

ok so a few days ago i bought DOOM physical anyways i checked befor inserting into my ps4 out of habit for scratches,scuffs ect it wouldn't reconize 4 times despite even looked under magnification for any signs of microscratches there was none in the end i just gave up will need to find a way back to the store soon befor return policy expires but first wanted to ask you guys if you have a solution

Do all other games install?

If so the disc is borked somehow. Should be able to get it swapped easy enough.

all my other games are digital to prevent such things I just had $15 credit at oldskool games from christmas so i bought it
