Homebrew Doki Doki Majo Shinpan

I did some searching, and apparently somebody at some point from some part of this website, was working on a translation for Doki Doki Majo Shinpan.

And I'm just wondering what's going on with that? Should I give up and go back to trying to figure out what to do by merely flailing my stylus every which way, or is there still hope for a translation so I can actually understand my instructions?

I wanna quit beating around the bush and start feeling the anime girls already, but I can't seem to get to that part yet because I haven't the slightest idea what on earth I'm doing.

Please tell me any translation projects aren't dead! I would love to see this game translated.

The op of the the "translation" thread didn't know how to rom hack or even speak japanese so It probably won't get translated unless someone else picks it up..which is very unlikely.

An alternative way is to try gamefaqs for a walk through of the game.

Unnecessary profiling. I'll have you know that I am a moderator on a very successful anime-style fetish site, and two of our members who could be classified as mere "fans", are very efficient at translating Japanese anime image files...

Oh, I didn't realize the game was being played by moderators of anime fetish web sites. I'm sure they will get it translated in no time if you just ask them. Maybe you should start a project to also port it to other systems like the PSP, so everybody can play it. Or start some online petitions to make Nintendo release it here. If you have lots of users, you should be able to get lots of signatures and make them pay attention. I can't believe Nintendo wouldn't do that already for this game, but I think you can show them the error of their ways.
