I know that R4 3ds revolution support ntr but does this model work with it?

Also I'd like to mention that NTRBootHaX only works with certain cards one way with the .NDS/.DSi single system method.
  • For non-AK2i users; after flash ntrboot firm, you will lose flashcart feature.
  • DSi mode cannot support restore feature; DSi device not support flashcart hot-swap
  • R4i SDHC cannot support restore feature; NDS memory limit
  • These mean if you haven't compatible backup, you will lose permanently flashcart feature,
if you have you can restore using ntrboot_flasher
  • If you have NDS or NDSL, use DS mode instead DSi. This version support restore flashcart
    until shutdown console.
  • I didn't test actual flashcarts, if got a problem, please make the issue

unless you then get the backup of the original card from somewhere like https://3ds.guide/installing-boot9strap-(ntrboot)#section-v---removing-ntrboot

so saying it is one way is incorrect

edit: other people have been requesting and posting backups from the r4i-shdc*** based r4i's around the forum also, so your millage will very based on what card you get

Oh gotcha, I thought it was implying it was only one way with certain cards using those specified systems. It says on the page right there "cannot support restore feature" so I assumed that meant you can't restore it. Sorry if I was confused because right under it it says if you have a backup you can reflash it.... So what exactly do they mean when they say cannot support restore feature due to NDS memory limits (R4I SDHC)?

only with the ak2i flasher, so you can restore it on the system it was flashed, due to the limited size on the NDS RAM as it states

Oh oh oh I see what you mean now.... You need to use the regular NTRboot flasher on the other system to reflash, it only applies to the ak2i flasher. Got it, got it.
Lol thanks for clearing that up.

It's outdated my card isn't on the list ( R4i SDHC 3ds RTS with wifi symbol like above) and i could flash my card.
Then create an issue on the repository. The picture is from the author of the flasher himself so you can't really expect to find a more official source

I'm aware of that but my post was intended to highlight the fact that it's outdated and people seeing this thread might wanna know their R4i works.
And why can't they google, or check the guide or another reputable source themselves? Hell half the time they don't even check old threads they just make a new post "Does my flashcard work with NTRBootHaX"? <insert pic>.

You can only spoon feed someone so much else they'll choke when feeding themselves.
