Hacking Does SSB have the SMG protection?

You know, the one where it says "error 001 unauthorized device..."
I really need to know because i have an unknown chip and it can't play mario galaxy, so i don't want to take any un-needed risks. And no, i can't update it because i don't know wich mod it is :/

yeah it uses the same protection. Most big nintendo releases are probably gonna use the new protection. So far other companies and not as popular nintendo games do not have the protection

Will you still be able to play an original even though it's modded? I know some modchips cant play a burned Galaxy but can play an original Galaxy but I've heard that Brawl will use some special protection that stops modded wiis playing it even though it's an original.

well from what i heard. wiiKey has problems playing the original. I think any other modchip will work, not completly sure tho.
