I saw ScummVM have removed all of their downloads for the Wii version, fortunately you can easily still download it using waybackmachine, unfortunately though, versions above 2.7.1 break compatibility with some games like Broken Sword 1. At the very least we can still get 2.7.0 but 2.7.1 is not archived. Bummer.

Oh fuck... not even a heads-up to archive them. :hateit:

Lucky for you, I have the tendency to archive all versions that exists for emulators and homebrew (that I can find). Get it here.

This is likely due to the stupid Homebrew Channel controversy.

And we know who's fault all of this is.:(

Great thanks! Yeah they even went back through all their older versions and even the build bot doesn't have them anymore. Most google results for "ScummVM Wii" always just end up linking to the scummvm downloads page. thanks again.

I noticed, a real shame, almost turned out to be lost media. It is like it never existed on the ScummVM page. Wish I could have gotten anything from the buildbot post 2.9.0.

There is this one but its "stable" and not a "daily build", but it does have some changes compared to the 2.9.0 that was on the main downloads page:

That said though, the Broken Sword games got broken with 2.8.0+ so I'll stick with 2.7.1 for that reason, maybe other games work better though who knows.
Nice! Archived.

Good to know about Broken Sword. Helps to stablish some sort of compatibility list in the future, not having to play every single game supported, which ranks in the hundreds, is useful. :yaywii:

One issue with the Wii port was refresh rate. It seems to be at about half od what it is supposed to be. I mean look at how vivid the scrolling looks on PC and compare that to the Wii ports.

Even the PS3 version looks smooth like the PC and the outdated Xbox 360 port not only is similar or the same to the Wii in terms of refresh rate, but the 360 port has audio issues with COMI and Full Throttle where no in-game voices or music will play. I think some might play with FT but COMI is worse off.

I've read a post that states COMI was fixed on 2.6.1, don't know if it broke again later.

The last version ported to 360 (unofficially) was 1.4.1 and it works fine on Wii. On 360 the game does work, but music and voices seem to not play. I even also tried converting the audio with ScummVM Tools to both vorbis and mp3 and still no voices or music.

Any idea what the "mod" version changed?
I did some editing to fix the cursor disappearing in some games (Just following instructions by one of the devs) when i wss active on the forum some time ago. I do not remember exactly what i changed but do know it fixed BASS and others.

Unfortunately both 2.8.0 and 2.8.1 had new issues when using through WiiFlow Lite plugin so i shitcanned all the newer releases and reverted back to 2.2.0 git for WFL Plugin distribution.

2.2.0 git is the last version that doesn't have cursor issues or a workaround is required, it is also the last release that supports command GUI window when pressing Home button on wiimote afaik.

Stored. Good info.

Do all versions above 2.2.0 give you problems with WFL?
