I've noticed some lag in combat playing Pokemon black, I've played different roms and it doesn't seem to fix it. I'm using a DSTWO

What's you're micro SD card and how much space is left.

Yeah it's lagging on 8gb class 2, no lags on class 4 or higher. Get faster SD.

No lag on a 16 Gb Class 2 Kingston, around 3 Gb free space. Faster SD =/= only solution. A lot depends on were it was manufactured and what the test can produce for it.

Does how much space you have left on the card affect speed? Since I'm jumping from a 4 gig I have 4 left maybe ill hesitate to fill it up.

also will higher classes make a difference? I may keep an eye out if a class 10 or something goes on sale.

One trick I used to use with my old SD (which happened to lag with Black/White) was this:

1. Open the DSTWO's menu (L+R+Start by default) while playing Black/White.
2. Set the slow motion to 100%
3. Close the menu and go back to Black/White, and make the screen change (such as opening your pokedex or something). Your game should be super slow.
4. Now go back and set the slow motion to 0%
5. Your game should no longer lag now.

This trick used to fix all the games that were laggy back on my old SD.
