Android Does an app like this exist?

I want to turn my old, shitty Chinese-Hungarian tablet with a faulty battery (only works when plugged in; I removed the battery, because it inflated) into a desktop/wall clock.
Does an app like this exist?:

• Displays the time,
• the weather,
• and some news headlines
• preferably with white text and icons over a black background?
