I've tried looking around but couldn't really find anything. There are some games with multiple cia files and I don't know if it's bc they're too big or if some of them are updates or both! I wanted to know if I can put them in my cia folder, install them one by one, and it'll still work or do I need to merge them together and how?

you can't "merge" cia files, and it's not safe to ask for help installing pirated software on here. go start a thread on that iso/chaos site if you want help.

There's no actual problem asking on how to install them. The problem is asking where to find the pirated files.

@LadyHaywood If you actually downloaded more than 1 CIA related to the same game, probably the source where you got the game gave you the game and DLC or updates. Each type of file requires it's own CIA file (AFAIK you can't combine everything into one CIA file), so you have to install them all using FBI.

Yeah, I had that feeling. But since I can't merge them would it still work by instaling the files one by one?

Yes, this means one by one, order doesn't matter actually.

I get the feeling they may have got a split archive.

I believe so. They used mega upload so I'm thinking they couldn't upload it in into one file and cut it into 4.

Most extraction programs like WinRAR or 7-zip will handle split archives by making sure they're all in the same folder and then just extracting the first one. It'll auto extract and combine the rest.

If you want to install more than one, just put them all into the same folder and install them them all through FBI. FBI allows you to install more than CIA and delete them all in the same folder. Even if you could combine them, it won't reduce the install time.

Okay, while this is really helpful for dealing with multiple cias, all 4 of these files have to same name and will overwrite the other if put into the same folder. I thought having them in parts mean that the game's files were split but now seeing that they all share the same file name I'm guessing they're updates but I don't want to only install the 4th one in fear that the game might fuck up.

Yes, I've tried that but the download keeps retrying and suspending and I think it's because it's too big. Not sure why bc I've downloaded Persona Q and that was 1Gb and downloaded fine. Not sure why this game won't.

Oh, do they? Normally they're named something like game.rar.part1, game.rar.part2, game.rar.part3... etc. And Windows may hide the file extension by default so they all look like game.rar when they aren't. Anyway, we'd need more details to tell you more.

There's really nothing on hre as I got a 32gb card to make sure I'll have room for the hack files and the games. I'll keep trying freeshop but i'll also keep looking for a less confusing file oof HLW.

Mmm, that's kind of what I was suspecting too.

This is really all the details I can show without fucking over the rules (I hope?). These are what the rar files look like and when opening the rar the cias are all named that.

Yeah, that's perfectly normal. Just extract the first one and WinRAR will silently extract the other three and give you one combined CIA file that's ~2GB in size. This is how most split archives work.
